Kip 3100 giving an Error 7 on the LCD monitor. It will not print any internal reports/tests, copy, or print. I Googled the error and found a manual that has this listed as the problem: "Print Error 7 – Interface Board Not Fast Enough. The PC interface board is not the correct board for the print hardware, or the wrong drivers (Kfiles) have been loaded for the I/F board." Any thoughts or ideas on what I should try? Not sure what the KFiles are. Firmware version is K116 1.01. We have several of these boxes in the field and for the most part they have done well so I am not familiar with this problem. This machine is down, so any and all suggestions are appreciated.

I would try re-ghosting the controller before I tried troubleshooting anything specific.

First thing I would do before regosting, is open the controller and remove and reseat the interface card. I have seen them come loose from time to time.
