| only on pdfs? If so, then you can adjust the pdf processing in printnet / settings. |

You can look at the HPGL settings in Printnet as well... There is a min greyscale setting.
If it is only happening on cad plots and not pdfs or raster plots then I would look at the HPGL settings or the settings in CAD that are creating the plots / plotfiles.
Just based on the things you have mentioned, I am incluned to think this is a software thing and not a hardware thing. |

| It ended up being the software come to find out the customer had recently installed a new server and reinstalled all the drivers for their kip yet forgot to mention that and they assumed because i put in a new drum and developer rollers that it was the machines fault silly silly customers. |

so my customer calls back and i go over there to be informed that the line width gray sale is not as thick as it used to be i found out there are using server 2008 auto-cad 9 i could be wrong but i don't believe there is any setting on the kip itself that can make the line with thicker and show more gray scale.
So i believe it is a driver issue they are using kipo port and kip gl mode i am not sure where to go on the drivers would it be better if they ran them individually instead of through there server any other ideas there getting upset at this problem everything used to work great until they replaced server and drivers thinking of upgrading them to 7.0 thanks in advance. |

| They would probably get better results using the Auotcad HDI driver instead of the Windows driver. The HDI driver won't have options to toggle between KipGL and KipScript. It works better with Autocad line weights and half tones. |
