removed right side cover and rear cover . found controller was not
powering up .
found the blown fuse on pc board behind rear cover and replaced
it with a new 3 amp fuse.
checked controller and the led's near nic plug are lit but the fans are not on in power supply of cotroller and controller itself.
i suspect the power supply is also bad , i am going to order it .
is there an after market supply available .i did not see a brand on the
power supply it looks like a regular computer power supply.
kip says their part number is on back order. also could my problem be something else like the controller is bad. any help would be appreciated.
i only have this one kip 6000 so i can't swap anything.

Probably is a bad power supply. Just go to your local computer store and buy one. Kip will want way too much $$$$$$$$$$$$

Yes it could be your power supply, but it could also be your bios setting has changed because the motherboard battery is old. We are getting this more often and the symptom always follows the machine being off for a while. To check you can short the start button pins on the motherboard. If the bios has reset then this will start it. Batteries are cheaper than power supplies. We do just buy power supply's off the shelf to replace them when required. Much cheaper and handy.
